Teenager who broke another man's jaw is jailed

A teenager who broke another man’s jaw outside a Chesterfield pub has been jailed. Curtis-Martin

Curtis Martin, 19, was sentenced to 15 months in a young offenders’ institution after pleading guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm.

Martin assaulted a 19-year-old man outside Moo Bar on Holywell Street on September 16, 2011.

The victim suffered a double fracture to his jaw.

Martin, of Haddon Close, Chesterfield was sentenced following a hearing at Derby Crown Court on Thursday, January 19.
