Police appeal for witnesses following aggravated burglary in Derby

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Derby.

A man entered an address on Hartington Street on Wednesday, January 25 sometime between midnight and 1am.

He entered the property via the front door carrying a knife; he took a jacket containing a large amount of money and ran off into the street.

The man was wearing dark clothing, a leather look jacket and wore a hood over his head.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Peartree CID on the police non-emergency number 101.
