Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in the neck.
Officers were called to Mill Street, Ilkeston, at around 4am today (Sunday, June 10) following reports that a man had been attacked.
The 19-year-old local man was taken to Nottingham's Queens Medical Centre for treatment. His injuries are serious but not thought to be life-threatening.
A 19-year-old, who is also from the town, has been arrested in connection with the incident. He remains in custody and is being questioned by officers.
