Driver charged with drugs offences after M1 stop

A man has been charged with drugs offences after police stopped his car on the M1 and found cocaine.
At around 11.30am on Saturday, June 9 roads policing officers stopped a Seat Leon car near junction 31 of the motorway. Officers searched the car and found the drugs.
They arrested the 32-year-old driver from the Nottingham area and later charged him with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
He will appear before magistrates in Chesterfield today (Monday, June 11).
