Police are appealing for witnesses following a theft from a market stall in Glossop.

On Friday, June 1 sometime between 2.10pm and 2.30pm a man stole cash from a lighting stall at the Market Hall on Market Street, Glossop.

The offender was described as white, in his late 20’s, approximately 5ft, 8ins tall, of a slim build and wearing an olive green baseball cap and anorak. He also had a shoulder bag that was a similar green colour to his clothing. He was seen to leave the Market Hall and head towards Chapel Street.
