Co-op in Langley Mill robbed by two men

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at the Co-op store on Station Road, Langley Mill.

At approximately 9.30pm yesterday (Tuesday June 26) two men entered the premises and demanded money from the staff.  One of the men was armed with a knife, the other carried a crowbar.  One man took the cash tray and they both ran off up Sedgwick Street towards the school grounds at the top of the street.

Nobody was injured during the incident.
