Three men charged after diesel stolen from Hayfield quarry

Three men have been charged after diesel was stolen from a quarry in Hayfield.

Sometime between Monday, June 25 at 1.45pm and Tuesday, June 26 at 7am offenders entered Hayfield Quarry on New Mills Road. A portacabin was broken into and an amount of red diesel was stolen.

An 18-year-old man, 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old man have been charged with burglary, theft from a motor vehicle and damage to a motor vehicle.

They are due to appear at Buxton Magistrates Court on Wednesday, July 4.
