Police appeal after sexual assault in Derby city centre

Police are appealing for information after a woman was sexually assaulted in Derby city centre.

On Thursday, November 8, between 4am and 4.30am a 27-year-old woman was walking along Ashbourne Road and turned into Uttoxeter Old Road.

She was approached by a man and was then assaulted in a car park just off of Uttoxeter Old Road.

The man was described as approximately 30-years-old, 5ft 10ins tall, of a stocky build with short black hair which was shaved at the back and around the sides.

He spoke with a foreign accent and was wearing a black jacket, baggy light blue jeans and flat black shoes.
