Pedestrian dies following collision in Renishaw

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian died as a result of a collision in Renishaw on Christmas Eve.

At around 6pm on Tuesday, December 24 a silver Peugeot estate car was in collision with a 60-year-old man on Main Road, near the Working Men’s Club.

The 60-year-old pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact the East Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101.
