Detectives in Derby are continuing to question a 36-year-old man in connection with a number of serious assaults.
The man was arrested following a series of sexual assaults on women in the Peartree and Normanton areas of the city.
The six victims are aged between 27 and 43-years-old.
One of the victims, a 27-year-old woman, required hospital treatment for cuts to her head and nose.
The offences took place between 10.30pm on Friday, February 1 and 9am on Saturday, February 2.
The women are being looked after by specially trained officers and will be offered continued support.
Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the assaults.
The man remains in police custody as is currently being questioned by officers.
