Youth assaulted in Derby

Police in Derby are investigating an assault in an underpass in the city.

Officers were called to a report of a stabbing at 4pm today (Monday February 18) and found that a 15-year-old boy had been injured in an underpass off Phoenix Street.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening and his family has been contacted.

Officers are trying to trace a group of suspects who left the area soon after the alleged assault.
