Detectives have arrested a fourth youth in connection with an assault on a teenaged boy in Derby.

The 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He has been questioned and released on bail pending further inquiries.

Two 14-year-old boys, arrested earlier this week on suspicion of the same offence, and a 17-year-old boy, who was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit GBH, remain on bail while the investigation continues.

Officers were called to a report of a stabbing at 4pm on Monday, February 18 and found that a 15-year-old boy had been injured in an underpass off Phoenix Street.

His injuries were not life-threatening and he has now been released from hospital.

Anyone who has any information that would help the investigation should ring the police on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
