Man assaulted and iPhone stolen during Littleover street robbery

Detectives investigating a robbery in Derby are appealing for information.

At around 3.40am on Sunday, July 28 a 41-year-old man was walking along Havenbaulk Lane, Littleover when he was approached by two men who asked him for money.

The victim said no and carried on walking but the two men followed him and pulled him to the floor and repeatedly kicked and punched him before stealing his mobile phone. The victim suffered cuts, bruising and swelling.

A small white car was seen leaving the scene. 

The offenders were both Asian men, in their early 20s, of slim build with short, dark hair. They were both wearing casual clothing.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information.
