His family has not seen or heard from him since.

Mr Beardsley’s car, a green Ford Focus estate, was seen in Lancashire shortly after his disappearance.

His car was found abandoned near Ullswater in the Lake District on July 14, 2012 and officers carried out extensive searches in that area.

Mr Beardsley is white, five feet ten inches tall, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a pale blue and maroon striped sweatshirt and blue jeans.

His disappearance was extremely out of character.

Police are appealing for Mr Beardsley or anyone who has information about his whereabouts to contact officers on 101.
