Witnesses sought after men burgle Ilkeston home

Police are appealing for information after a group of men burgled a house in Ilkeston.

At around 8pm on Thursday, February 28, a group of men sneaked into a house in Caroline Court through an unlocked back door.

They demanded money from the couple, who are in their 50s and who were watching TV in the lounge at the time.

The told the couple to lie on the floor while they took cash, jewellery and electrical goods.

The men were all either wearing balaclavas or hooded tops with scarves over their faces.
