Between 12.30pm and 1pm on Friday, March 1 thieves stole the caravan from outside a house on Shardlow Road, Alvaston.

The caravan was facing the garage door and would have had to be pushed off the drive and turned around to be hooked up to a vehicle.

Due to the length of the caravan, traffic would have been forced to stop on Shardlow Road while the theft took place. The caravan is a Hobby Prestige five berth in white with blue trimmings.

Officers would like to speak to motorists or anyone who was in the area who may have witnessed the theft taking place. Three men with a white transit van were seen in the area around the time of the theft.

Anyone with information is asked to call Derbyshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
