Detectives have released an image of a suspect they are looking for in connection with three sexual assaults in Ilkeston.
The most recent incident happened at around 6.10pm on Sunday, January 27. A 16-year-old girl was walking along Cavendish Road, Ilkeston, when a man walked past her and pinched her bottom.
She was shocked by the incident and called her friend. As she did this, the man ran off toward Nottingham Road.
The victim got a good look at the man and has now been able to work with police to create this image of the suspect. He is white, in his late 20s or early 30s and around 5ft 8ins tall. He had dark stubble and wore black jogging bottoms with three stripes down each leg and a hooded top with the hood up. The top had red on the hood, shoulders and front but was dark everywhere else.
Officers have now linked the incident to a similar crime which happened at around 9.10pm on Sunday, January 20. A 27-year-old woman was walking along Nottingham Road when she noticed a man walking behind her. As she continued onto Cavendish Road, the man put his arm around her waist. She screamed and he ran off.
In another incident, which happened at 1.40am on Sunday, December 16, a 44-year-old woman was walking along Catherine Avenue when a man approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her. She punched him and he ran off.
