Appeal after man attempted to rob bus driver in Spondon

Police are appealing for information after a man attempted to rob a bus driver of her takings in Spondon.
The bus was travelling along Nottingham Road between Spondon and Borrowash at around 11.45pm on Friday, May 17 when a man walking along the street gestured for the bus to stop.
The driver pulled up at the stop outside White House Children’s Nursery and the man got on the bus.
He demanded that the driver handed over cash but she refused and asked for assistance from the other passengers.
The man got off the bus and was last seen walking down Nottingham Road, towards Spondon.
He is described as aged in his late teens or early 20s, of a slim build and was wearing a grey tracksuit with a hooded top pulled around his face.
