Appeal after men injured on Derby street

Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were injured during an altercation on a street in Derby.

At around 1am today (Saturday, November 2) police were called to Cardigan Street after two men suffered injuries following a fight involving around six men.

The two men, aged 22 and 25, were taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not life threatening.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnesses the incident, which occurred on Cardigan Street near the junction with Selkirk Street.
