Cyclist demands woman's phone in Markeaton Park

A cyclist tried to rob a woman in a Derby park.

At around 5.20pm on Monday, November 4, a 44-year-old woman was walking in Markeaton Park, near to the Ashbourne Road entrance, when she was approached by a man on a bicycle.

He threatened her and demanded her mobile phone. She refused and walked away and he rode off.

He is described as white, in his late teens and 5ft 7ins tall. He wore a dark knitted beanie gat, blue jeans and blue jacket with white sleeves. He rode a light coloured mountain bike.
