Body found in search for Derby man missing in Scotland

Police investigating the disappearance of a Derby man who had travelled to Scotland have found a body.

Colin Barnfather (54) left his home in Chellaston on September 21 to travel to Scotland for a holiday.

A body was found by officers and mountain rescue teams at around 4pm on Sunday, October 6 near Kinloch Hourn, in the Scottish Highlands.

The body has not been formally identified but is believed to be that of Mr Barnfather, who was reported missing after failing to return to work on Monday, September 30.

Police do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances.
