Man's car stolen after he is robbed in Pride Park

Police are appealing for information about a robbery in Derby on Sunday morning (April 6).

At about 6.30am yesterday a 67-year-old man was attacked by a group of men while walking his dog near Pride Park stadium.

The victim, who is from Spondon, was assaulted and has sustained a serious knee injury. The victim’s car, a blue Peugeot 307 registration YT04NLC was stolen during the incident.

One of the suspects is described as being white, about 19 or 20-years-old, 5’ 8” tall, wearing a light grey jacket and dark trousers. A second man was described as having a dark complexion. He was wearing a maroon and black hoody and dark trousers.

Police believe the car is still in the Derby area and are appealing for help to find it.
