Woman dies after Derby road crash

A woman who was injured in a road collision in Derby on Friday April 4 has died in hospital as a result of her injuries.

Kulwinder Kaur, (49) from Young Street, Derby, was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with serious injuries, after being in collision with a green Toyota Yaris.

Officers from Derbyshire Constabulary’s collision investigation unit have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the collision that happened on the junction of St James Road and Upperdale Road, Derby at around 5.15am on Friday April 4, 2014. 

Anyone who saw the crash or has any information that would assist the police should ring 101 and contact DC Bernie Glynn.
