15-year-old boy robbed in Derby

Officers in Derby are investigating a robbery involving two men who stole from a 15-year-old boy.

At 5.30pm on Wednesday April 23 the boy was walking along the footpath that runs from Stores Road under the railway line onto Caesar Street. He was approached by two men who were speaking a foreign language.

One of them punched him in the face and he fell over.  While he was on the ground the second man kicked him and, as he tried to stand up, the man who punched him pushed him back down. 

He was grazed and bruised by the assault but managed to get up and run away. He was chased by both offenders across Stores Road. 

They stole is his grey Adidas jacket and his white Blackberry Curve phone and charger. 

The man who punched him was in his mid-20s, had an olive skin, black hair, was 6ft tall and of a lean build. He was wearing blue jeans and a black jacket. The man who kicked him and stole his jacket is olive skinned, 5ft 10ins tall, of lean but muscular build, with short dark brown hair and stubble. He was wearing a short sleeved white T shirt with a large black Adidas logo on the front and light grey Nike tracksuit bottoms.
