Investigation launched after van is driven into a house in Derby

Detectives in Derby are appealing for information after a truck was driven into a house in Spondon.

The van, which had been stolen from a waste management company in Staffordshire, was drive into the property on Nottingham Road at around 4.50am today (Monday, April 21).

Two men were seen to get out of the stolen vehicle and make off in a white van. 

No one was in the house and the time and no one was injured. The house suffered significant structural damage. 

No weapons were used or seen. 

Police believe it to be as a result of an ongoing localised dispute.
