Information appeal following robbery at Gamesley store

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Glossop.  

On Wednesday, August 6 at 5pm three men entered a convenience store on Glossop Road, Gamesley.

The men began to threaten the staff with a weapon and demanded that they hand over cash from the tills.

It is believed that two of the offenders ran in the direction of Cottage Lane and the third towards the playing green. 

All three of the offenders wore dark clothing and one of the men is described as around 5ft 6 ins tall, and is believed to be carrying a yellow ‘Ikea’ style bag.
