Police have released an image of two rings they want to trace after they were stolen from Littleover, Derby.
At around 5pm on Thursday, July 31, a woman entered the ladies toilets in the main reception of the East Midlands Nuffield Hospital on Rykneld Road, Littleover.
The woman placed both her engagement and her wedding ring on the basin while she washed her hands before leaving to attend her appointment.
After contacting the hospital, they confirmed that the rings were no longer there.
The rings, a gold etched Michael Hall ring and a gold wedding band, are of great sentimental value to the victim and her husband.
Anyone with any information about the rings is asked to contact PC Jade Brown at Peartree police station, Derby on 101.
Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
