Police appeal for witnesses after a woman had her handbag snatched in Ripley.

On Saturday, August 9 between 9.15pm and 9.40pm a woman was walking along Cedar Avenue when she was approached by a woman on a bike.

The woman demanded that she hand over her handbag, she then snatched the bag and rode off.

The woman was described as approximately 5ft 2ins tall and had something covering her mouth and also something covering her head.
