Police appeal for witnesses after cash is stolen from a shop in Derby.

On Thursday, August 14 at 4.10pm a man and woman walked into Reliance Electrical on Babington Lane and stole some cash from the till.

The man ran through the rear door of the shop and onto Sitwell Street and the woman walked out of the front entrance to the shop onto Babington Lane.

The man was described as white, in his 20s, average height and had short dark hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt.

The woman was described as white, average height with long blonde hair. She was wearing blue jeans, black vest and was carrying a handbag.

Anyone that has information is asked to contact PC Paul Beautyman at St Marys Wharf police station using the non-emergency number 101.
