Police appeal for witnesses after meat was stolen from a shop in Ashbourne.

On Thursday, August 8 at 5.50pm three men were reported to be shoplifting in the Marks and Spencer store on Waterside Road.

Each of the men was seen to fill a basket full of meat and leave the store.

Police would like to speak to a woman that was stood near to the meat section at the time who may have seen the men.

The men were all described as white, one of the men was wearing blue shorts and a striped hooded top, another was wearing blue checked shorts and a blue Nike t-shirt and the third man was wearing black jogging bottoms and a t-shirt. They all had shaved heads at the back with longer hair on top.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Baggaley at Ashbourne police station using the 101 non-emergency number.
