Police appeal for witnesses after teenagers have belongings stolen in Littleover.

On Sunday, August 10 at 9pm two 15-year-old boys and a 14-year old girl were walking along Burton Road when they were approached by two men on bikes.

The men asked one of the youths for his wallet which he handed over, but later discarded. The man then allegedly searched the other youth and stole a small amount of cash, a packet of cigarette papers and a set of headphones.

The men were described as black, approximately 18-19 years old and were both of a medium, muscular build. One of the men was wearing a dark coloured jacket and had something covering the bottom half of his face. The other man was wearing a light coloured jacket and tracksuit bottoms.

A 17-year old youth has been arrested and has been released on police bail.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Adrian Mason at St Mary’s Wharf police station using the non-emergency 101 number.

To report crime anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
