Police appeal for witnesses after a boy was robbed in Derby.

On Tuesday, August 19 between 3pm and 3.30pm an 11-year-old boy was walking down an alley way, with two friends, which leads from Stenson Road to Cuttlebrook Close when he was approached by a youth who tried to steal his phone. He then searched all three of the boys pockets and ran off.

The youth was described as black, 6ft tall and was of a slim build. He was wearing a black Adidas tracksuit with blue stripes; a hood was worn over his head.
