Police appeal for witnesses after a fire at a house in Calow

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fire was discovered outside a house in Calow.

On Friday, August 29 at 4.45am the residents of a house on Top Road saw a fire outside their property. When they went to investigate they found that a petrol can had been set alight and placed next to the front door.

The fire caused damage to the door and guttering.

The police are carrying out a joint investigation with the fire service and anyone with information is asked to contact PC Jennifer Brocksopp using the non-emergency number 101.
