Posted on 5th December 2014

Burglars made off with a large number of mobile phones and tablet computers after smashing a window with a rock.

The two men climbed a fence at Sadler Bridge Studios, in Bold Lane, Derby, and used the rock to break into the building.

They then stole a large number of phones and tablets. The haul included a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet, a Google Nexus 7 tablet, three Apple iPads, two Blackberry phones, two Nokia Lumia phones, a Sony Xperia E3 and an iPhone.

One of the burglars was wearing a padded hooded jacket, dark trousers, dark shoes with white soles and a rucksack. The second was white with short, dark hair.

During the break-in, the offender who threw the rock was struck in the face with it after it bounced off a window.

Police want any information on the offence, which happened at about 7.30am on Sunday, November 23.

Officers also want to hear from anyone who knows somebody who had suffered a facial injury around the date of the burglary.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting crime reference 49664/14.

You can also call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
