Two vehicles taken from Repton home after burglars break in and steal car keys

Posted on 8th December 2014

Burglars broke into a house in Repton and stole two cars that had been parked outside.

The offenders smashed a window at a house in Milton Road, between 9.10pm on Friday, December 5 and 4.45am the following morning.

An iPod Nano was stolen from inside along with car keys to a Nissan Qashqai, which had been parked on the driveway, and a Ford Ranger that was parked opposite the house.

Both vehicles were then taken by the offenders. The five-door Qashqai is red in colour and has a number plate beginning with J19. The Ford Ranger is silver and has a registration starting with FH61.

It is believed the Ford Ranger was driven to nearby Milton and had some of the contents dumped in a field close to Robins Croft.

Police investigating the offence want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity either at the Repton address or at Milton.

Witnesses or anyone with information on the whereabouts of the vehicles should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting crime reference 51617/14.

You can also call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
