Police issue appeal for witnesses after a robbery at a park in Derby.

On Thursday, November 27 between 9pm and 9.50pm, three 16-year-old girls were walking through Normanton Park, near to Colwyn Avenue, when they were approached by a group of three men.

One of the men threatened them and asked them to hand over their mobile phones. A set of headphones was stolen and the men made off into the park.

The men were described as Asian with local accents, aged 16-18 years of age. One wore a grey and blue hooded top and the other two wore black hooded tops, all with the hoods worn up.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Laura McCormack at St Marys Wharf police station using the non-emergency 101 number.
