Police appeal for information on whereabouts of missing Chesterfield man

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a man who went missing from his home in Chesterfield. Carl-Mason

Carl Mason was seen by a relative at his home in Endowood Road, Chesterfield, on the evening of Monday, December 1, but has not been seen since.

The 48-year-old is believed to have left home in a silver Ford Fiesta, the registration plate of which starts with YP56.

Mr Mason is white, about 5ft 6ins, of slim build and with receding grey hair. He does not have any teeth on his upper jaw.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black shoes and a thick blue or black coat.

Police are appealing for information on his whereabouts and want to hear from anyone who saw his car or a man matching his description.

Officers believe Mr Mason may have been in the Dunham-on-Trent area of Nottinghamshire at some point after going missing and would like to hear from anyone with information in that area.

Anyone with information should call Derbyshire police immediately on 101, quoting incident 705 of December 2.
