Witness appeal after house window and car are damaged by vandals in Heanor street

Police are investigating an incident of criminal damage where a car was keyed and had its tyres slashed before bricks were thrown through a house window.

The Renault Espace was parked in Ashforth Avenue, Heanor, when it was targeted by vandals who scratched it several times.

They also slashed three of its tyres, before bricks were thrown through the windows of a nearby house.

The incident happened at about 2.50am on Friday, November 28.

Police want to hear from witnesses or anyone who might have information on the people responsible.
