Image released of sentimental necklace stolen from Alvaston house

Police investigating a burglary at a house in Alvaston have released a photo of a necklace that was among the items stolen. Alvaston-burglary-necklace-pic-cropped

The house in Anthony Drive was broken into by a burglar who threw a rock at a window to get inside.

Two iPad Minis, a men’s Raymond Weil watch with gold inlets in the strap, a silver DKNY watch and a Samsung digital camera were taken.

Several items of jewellery were also stolen, including a sentimental gold necklace with a gold Buddha amulet on it.

Images of the necklace and the Raymond Weil watch have now been released by detectives as part of an appeal for information.

The burglary took place between 12.30pm and 7.20pm on Wednesday, December 3.
