On Sunday, November 2 at 7.30pm a 43-year-old man lent his phone to a man to make a call at the junction of Cranfleet Way and Wilsthorpe Road.

As soon as the man took hold of the phone, a black Samsung GT, he ran away with it still in hand.

The man was described as 23-year-old, 5ft 6ins tall with short hair and was wearing a black hooded top and dark coloured clothing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Tom Craig at Long Eaton police station using the non-emergency number 101.
