Derbyshire police officers have issued a renewed appeal for information and are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a man who went missing from his home in Chesterfield in early December.
Carl Mason was reported missing on December 2, having last been seen by a relative at his home in Endowood Road, Chesterfield the previous evening. He has not been seen since.
Mr Mason (48) is white, about 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build, with receding grey hair. He does not have any teeth on his upper jaw and is believed to have been wearing blue jeans, black shoes and a thick blue or black coat.
He left home in a silver Ford Fiesta, the registration plate of which starts with YP56. The car was found parked in the car park of the White Swan on Main Street, Dunham-on-Trent in Nottinghamshire on December 3.
CCTV footage showed a man, believed to be Mr Mason, walking away from the car.
Officers from both Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire have carried out searches for Mr Mason but there have been no reported sightings of him since the images were captured on the CCTV near the pub.
Anyone who has any information that would help the police to find Mr Mason should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting incident 705 of December 2.
