Appeal for witnesses after thieves target cars parked in Old Whittington streets

Thieves broke into cars parked in Old Whittington and stole items from inside.

A Vauxhall Corsa that had been parked in Station Lane had a window forced open between 6pm on Boxing Day and 11.15am on Saturday, December 27.

Items including a TomTom satnav and various CDs were stolen from inside.

A Vauxhall Corsa parked in Danby Avenue was targeted by offenders who tried to force open one of the doors. Nothing was stolen in that incident, which happened between 3pm on Boxing Day and noon the following day.

An Alfa Romeo in Danby Avenue had its registration plate removed between 6.20pm Boxing Day and noon on Saturday, December 27. The plate was found dumped nearby.
