Police appeal after man had money stolen in Hadfield

Police appeal for information after a man had money stolen in Hadfield.

On Saturday, February 08 at 8pm a man was walking along an alley way on Mersey Bank Road when he was approached by two men.

One of the men demanded money and was holding a knife. The victim handed over cash and jewellery.

The man with the knife was described as white, 26 years-old, of medium build, 6ft tall with a strong Manchester accent. He was wearing a grey tracksuit with the hood worn down and a dark brown peaked cap.

The second man was described as 6ft 2ins tall, white, 26 years-old, a skinny build with long dark hair. He was wearing a black nylon jacket and dark clothing.

The two men then walked off in the direction of Hadfield Road.
