Appeal following suspected arson attack in Pinxton

Police are appealing for information about a suspected arson attack on a garage in Pinxton.

At around 12.45am on Monday, February 10 the occupant of a house on Church Street West was woken by a bang. He looked out and saw the garage attached to his home was alight.

The man, in his 60s, put out the fire himself and contacted the emergency services. No one was injured.  

It is believed the fire was started deliberately via the roof of the garage.
