Man robbed and assaulted in Long Eaton

Two men have assaulted and robbed a man in Long Eaton.

At around 1am on Friday, February 14, a 21-year-old man was walking along Derby Road when he was approached by two men.

One of the men hit him and he stumbled into an alleyway next to Ladbrooks. The two robbers followed him and assaulted him before rifling through his pockets and taking cigarettes and a mobile phone.

The robbers, who are both white and in their late teens, ran off toward College Street.
