Police issue warning after cars broken into in Wirksworth

Police are appealing for witnesses after a number of cars were broken into in Wirksworth.

Overnight on January 12-13 a total of five cars had their windows smashed and items left on display were stolen, including a briefcase and Sat Navs.

PC Mat Winterbottom from Wirksworth Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “We would like to remind residents to lock their vehicles and not to leave anything on display.”
