Delivery driver is assaulted and robbed of his car

A delivery driver’s car was stolen as he took food to a house in Long Eaton.

At around 12.15am on Monday, January 6, a pizza delivery driver was taking food to a house in Lower Brook Street. He pulled up in his red Nissan Mirca near to the junction of Stanley Street and as he got out of the car, he was approached by three men, who assaulted him before driving off in the Micra toward Craig Street.

Minutes later, a resident called police to report that the car had been abandoned in Beresford Road.

The men are described as white and in their late 20s. One man was of medium build while another was slim with short, black hair. The third man was of medium build and wore a knitted hat.
