Investigation launched after man dies at the Toyota plant at Burnaston

Police and members of the Health and Safety Executive are investigating the death of a man at Toyota Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd.
Officers were called to the factory in Burnaston at 12.40am today (Wednesday January 22) to a report of a man trapped between two lorries.
The investigation is at an early stage but there don’t appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
The man, who is believed to be 56-years-old and not from Derbyshire, has not yet been formally identified. His family have been informed.
