Copper piping stolen from school after night-time burglary

Burglars broke into a school and stole power tools and copper piping from classrooms that were being renovated.

The offenders forced open a door at Breadsall Hilltop Junior School, in St Andrews View, Derby, between 6pm on Tuesday, July 1 and 8.30am the next morning.

They took a disc cutter, a Hilti electric breaker and copper piping.

Police investigating the offence want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity or people hanging around the school site.
