Woman dies after Derby car park collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in the car park of Tesco Express on Stenson Road in Derby.

At about 5.35pm on Saturday 28th June 2014 a silver Vauxhall Astra was reversing out of a parking space when it collided with a pedestrian.  The elderly Derby woman was initially thought to have suffered minor injuries but died two days later.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle or pedestrian prior to the incident to contact the Derbyshire police collision investigation unit on 101.  They should quote the incident number 581 of 28/06/14. The officer investigating is PC Chris Ronayne.
